LSM is extremely proud to showcase our network of Latinx physicians, medical students, researchers, PA's, etc. who have graduated from USC and have contributed in any way to our organization. This page includes many of our LSM alumni and where they are now.

STEPHANIE BRITO-YATES, MD

Class of 2016

Dr. Stephanie Brito-Yates attended USC and graduated with her BS in Biological Sciences. She attended the Keck School of Medicine and graduated with her Masters of Public Health as well as her MD. She is currently in her Residency at Creighton University.

JORDAN JUAREZ, MD

Class of 2017 | LSM Co-Founder

Dr. Jordan Juarez graduated from USC in 2017 with his BS in Neuroscience and then again in 2018 with his MS in Global Medicine. He went on to attend Temple University - Lewis Katz School of Medicine for his MD. He is currently in his Residency at UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine.

MANNY MORALES

Class of 2019 | LSM Co-Founder

Manny Morales graduated USC in 2019 with his BS in Biological Sciences. He also attended a Post-Bacc program at UCSF before attending the USC Keck School of Medicine for his MD. He is currently a rising MS4 in his Research Year.

REBECCA BRAGANCA

Class of 2020

Rebecca Braganca graduated from USC in 2020 with her BS in Global Health and BA in French and a minor in Public Health. She is attending the USC Keck School Medicine for her MD. She is currently an MS 2 at Keck.

MARIA MORALES

Class of 2020 | LSM President

Maria Morales graduated from USC in 2020 with her BS in Global Health. She has an extensive history in the Health Policy field in many organizations, most notably at the California State Assembly. She is currently a Statewide Policy Director at HOPE (Hispanas Organized for Political Equality).

KATHERINE LOERA

Class of 2021 | LSM Treasurer

Katherine Loera graduated from USC in 2021 with her BA in Health & Human Sciences. She is currently pursuing her Occupational Therapy Doctorate (OTD) at the USC Chan Division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy.

DANIEL FLORES

Class of 2021 | LSM Student Advocacy & Community Outreach Chair

Daniel Flores graduated from USC in 2021 with his BS in Human Biology. He is currently an MS 3 at the UCI School of Medicine and is participating in the PRIME-LC Dual Degree program that directly serves the Latino Community.

BIANCA LUNA-LUPERCIO

Bianca Luna-Lupercio graduated from USC in 2021 with her BS in Neuroscience. She is currently working as an Emergency Department Technician at Torrance Memorial Medical Center.

MATTHEW CERVANTES

Class of 2021 | LSM Undergraduate Mentorship Chair

Matthew Cervantes graduated from USC in 2021 with his BS in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. He is currently attending the Keck School of Medicine pursuing his MD. He is currently an MS 4 at Keck.

SOFIA REYES

Class of 2022 | LSM President

Sofia Reyes graduated from USC in 2022 with her BS in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. She graduated from USC again in 2023 after completing her Progressive Degree for a Masters in Public Health. She is currently a fellow at the San Diego Department of Public Health.

MICHAEL MARTINEZ

Class of 2022 | LSM Vice President

Michael Martinez graduated from USC in 2022 with his BS in Human Biology. He is currently attending the California University of Science and Medicine pursuing his MD. He is current an MS2.

ELIZABETH ROJAS

LSM Treasurer

Elizabeth Rojas graduated from USC with her BS in Gerontology. She graduated again from USC with her MS in Gerontology. She also attended a Post-Bacc program at Loyola Marymount University. She is currently a PhD student at the USC Leonard Davis School of Gerontology.
