Who Are We?
Latino Students in Medicine is a cultural pre-health organization designed to create a safe space for questions, community building, and to provide opportunities for Latinx students pursuing a career in healthcare. We strive to provide our members with networking opportunities, research opportunities, MCAT guidance, mentorship opportunities. Our mission continues to be to help Latinx pre-health undergraduate students become successful in their future careers and professional school applications. With this, we also have the ultimate goal of increasing the number of Latinx physicians, dentists, researchers, physician assistants, occupational therapists, and more!

We Do
LSM hosts weekly meetings for our general body members with different topics each week that range from Research 101, How To Maximize your Summer, Health Professionals panels, Medical Student panels, Workshops, etc. LSM also hosts socials for our members to get to know each other more and create connections. Additionally, we host our annual Pre Health conference at USC open to everyone!

Latino Students in Medicine at USC is a cultural and professional organization that services undergraduate Latinx pre-health students throughout their professional journeys through mentorship, education, and professional development. The intention is to help guide undergraduates to become successful graduate and medical school applicants, mitigating the underrepresentation of Latinx professionals in healthcare.

Affiliations
LSM is a Recognized Student Organization designed to serve the Latinx Pre-Health community at USC. We work very closely with USC's Latino Alumni Association (LAA), USC's Latine Student Assembly (LSA), USC's Pre-Health Office, and Keck SOM of USC's Latino Medical Student Association (LMSA).
